I'm excited to share our latest collaboration with @fidocklab using mixed alkyl/aryl phosphonates to identify possible drug targets in Plasmodium. Our work offers a possible method for deciphering important drug targets, mechanism of action, and mechanisms of resistance.







Our latest collaboration with @fidocklab is out. PhD student @ChemBio_John found mixed aryl/alkyl phosphonates that target essential serine hydrolases in Plasmodium falciparum. They kill parasites with low overall induced resistance. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
