DePaul coach Chris Holtmann on his recruiting pitch this offseason: "There are going to be no guarantees coming in on the front end. We're not guaranteeing starting positions or playing time. What we are going to guarantee is that we're going to coach you and we're going to challenge you to be your very best. If you want to come and be a part of this thing, hopefully taking another step forward. We think you have the ability to really do that with the guys we've identified."

DePaul coach Chris Holtmann on how he thinks DePaul got better:
"I think we were able to be consistent with the profile we were looking for, which was two way players and improved offensive needs that we felt like we needed to address. That's the biggest thing we didn't want to sacrifice is what we had felt like we were good at last year, which was our ability to defend at a high level. We were trying as much as we could to recruit two way players at the same time addressing what we knew were obvious offensive concerns."
