Due to Spring Festival holiday, the Visa Office of the Chinese Embassy in Jamaica will be closed from February 15 to February 23, 2026.

Today, Ambassador Wang Jinfeng, Mrs. Symone Betton Nayo, Undersecretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade and Ms. Sophia Mitchell, Senior Director of ODPEM attended the handover ceremony for China's fourth shipment of disaster relief supplies to Jamaica.

🇨🇳🇯🇲Today, I attended the handover ceremony for China's fourth shipment of disaster relief supplies to Jamaica.  Mrs. Symone Betton Nayo, Undersecretary of @mfaftja and Ms. Sophia Mitchell, Senior Director of @odpem , attended the ceremony.

Yesterday, the ＃UNGA adopted a resolution recognizing the transatlantic ＃slave trade as the gravest crime against humanity, with 123 countries voting in favor and only 3 opposed. It is important to acknowledge history, honor victims, and take concrete action.

On the International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade, we join Jamaica in remembering millions of victims. Relevant countries should act to end racial discrimination, eliminate social injustice and uphold human dignity. @Babsy_grange

For 60+ years the U.S. has imposed a full blockade and illicit sanctions on #Cuba, wreaking havoc on people’s lives in Cuba. China firmly opposes these unilateral sanctions and firmly supports Cuba in pursuing the development path suited to their national conditions, safeguarding sovereignty and security, and opposing external interference. We urge the U.S. to immediately lift the blockade and sanctions, and stop pressuring Cuba under any pretext.
