Longtime Chicago Sports fans remember this face. Terry Armour (1961–2007) was a beloved Chicago Tribune reporter, columnist, and fixture in the city's media scene for nearly three decades. He began as a copy clerk in 1980, covered the Bulls' championship run (1995–1999), and later became an entertainment columnist and radio host, known for his infectious, hard-working, and friendly personality. He worked as a sportswriter for the Daily Press in Virginia before returning to the Tribune to cover high school sports and later the Chicago Bulls (1995-1999). Columnist: He later became an entertainment columnist for the Tribune and hosted a midday radio show on WCKG-FM with friend & colleague @stevedahlshow. Born and raised on Chicago's South Side, he attended Quigley Preparatory Seminary South and Columbia College. Legacy: Known for his humor and work ethic, his byline is on the Billy Goat Tavern's journalist wall of fame. Sadly, Terry passed away unexpectedly on December 28, 2007, at the age of 46. Armour was recognized as a "Chicago original" and a "Tribune legend," known for his dedication to covering the city's sports and entertainment scene. Terry Armour left behind a legacy amongst Family, Friends, colleagues - and the City Of Chicago that will be remembered for lifetimes ahead. #ChicagoHistory personified.
