Today marks 30 years since I first put on a name tag at Universal Orlando. Like many people who end up in themed entertainment, I started as a fan who just wanted to be close to the magic. I could never have imagined that the place I loved visiting would become the place where I would spend the next three decades creating stories, shows, and experiences for millions of guests. Over the years, I have been incredibly fortunate to grow alongside Universal itself. From early days working in the park as a performer, to the opportunity to help shape Halloween Horror Nights, our Wizarding Worlds, various live shows, nighttime spectaculars, parades and projects across our resort, and beyond, every step of the journey has been fueled by the most talented and passionate people I have ever worked with. Individuals do not build this business. It is built by teams of show directors, writers, artists, technicians, producers, performers, engineers, designers, and dreamers who believe that what we create together matters. The friendships and collaborations from the past 30 years are what I am most grateful for. Universal has always been a place that rewards creativity, passion, and just a little bit of obsession with great storytelling. I have been lucky enough to work with people who care deeply about giving guests moments they will remember for the rest of their lives. Thirty years later, I am still that kid who walked into the park excited to see how movies could come to life. The difference now is that I get to help create the magic at a place a love dearly and with some of greatest people ever. Thank you to everyone who has been part of my journey so far.
