There’s a shift happening in how Intune handles remote actions. No real announcements yet…. But it’s there. IC3. Ic3 is not just another notification layer, but a direct connection to the device. No waking it up, no waiting for a push signal to land. The device is already there, already listening. That changes how remote actions behave. No more hoping something arrives. Just sending the action and getting a response. this improvement feels big!!!. #Intune #MsIntune youtu.be/okfF3l_3_lE

Intune timing demystified: what’s happening under the hood (and why that’s about to change) -Intune policies can arrive on a device within minutes… -PowerShell scripts and remediations may run hours later. -Required apps often wait around 60 minutes before that workload starts. -And triggering a remote Sync does not actually sync everything. That is not a bug... That entire model depends on two things: A notification push to wake the device up… and interal IME timers. Both of those are starting to change. In this blog I explain the current behavior… and where Intune is heading. patchmypc.com/blog/intune-ti… #Intune #MSIntune #Windows #Windows11

Intune Remote Actions Slow? The February Update Finally Fixed It Do Intune remote actions sometimes feel slow? Or approving an EPM elevation request taking longer than it should? You are not imagining it.... "Something" inside the OMADM client started putting push-triggered remote actions into an internal queue, which delays execution for 5 minutes. Luckily, something changed again in the February 2026 Windows update, bringing back instant remote actions...yes Instant!!! If you want to know what changed under the hood, you may want to read this. patchmypc.com/blog/intune-de… P.S: @IntuneSuppTeam .... this is worth an official MSFT announcement :P....i think #Intune #MSIntune

What's the difference between @MSIntune "Wipe", "Fresh Start", "Retire" and "Delete"? Great infographic

Configuring the time zone with Intune, what are our options? Managing the time zone on Windows devices with #MsIntune isn't rocket science, but we have different options with their own pros and cons. Read about those options in my blog post. #Windows inthecloud247.com/configuring-th…

I’ve updated the blog with an additional section explaining what I think went wrong during incident IT1214934. Please note: This is not a confirmed root cause from Microsoft. It is based on device side behavior, registry state, SyncML flows, and how firewall rules were represented before, during and after the incident window. The evidence points to a temporary mismatch in how Intune handled firewall rule identity, especially when rules were renamed or modified Read the adjusted blog below! #Intune #MSintune #Windows #Windows11 #Defender #PatchMyPC

If your Intune Firewall rules started acting strange (AKA totally broken), this is why! Let's say you changed an Intune Firewall Rule... The firewall rules look applied, but somehow existing firewall rules are disabled or, even worse, all outbound network traffic is blocked. Microsoft incident IT1214934 explains part of it. The blog tells the rest of the story. #Intune #MSIntune #Windows #Windows11 #Defender @IntuneSuppTeam ... :) Something like being your loved troublemaker ? patchmypc.com/blog/intune-fi…

How Windows device check-in works with Intune Windows does not only rely on the eight-hour Maintenance sync to receive new policies. That maintenance cycle exists, but it is only one part of the process. During enrollment, the device checks in rapidly to pull down everything it needs. After enrollment, Intune uses the Windows Notification Service as the wake-up call that tells the device to sync. That is why most policy changes land within six to ten minutes The maintenance sync is only the fallback (safety net) when nothing else happens. There is also a full flow behind this that explains why policy delivery feels instant at some moments and slower at others. I broke down the complete sequence and the real timings in a blog for anyone who wants a clear picture of how Intune actually delivers policies to Windows devices. And yes, there is a reason it is not five minutes. That part is in the blog. patchmypc.com/blog/intune-po… #Intune #MSIntune #Windows #Windows11 #WindowsAutopilot

Wondering why, all of a sudden, Win32Apps are not being installed or updated on your device? Let me start by explaining that you need to be very very careful when changing the Intune Management Extension config file. Why? Because any change can cause the IME to stop working the way you expect. Even something small, like switching the logging mode to verbose, can cause the IME to load the wrong DLL assemblies, and when that happens, all your Win32 app installations don’t even start. With it, the Company Portal stays stuck on “Downloading” with no real clue of what went wrong. The full story and the fix are in the blog. The 8 Hour Intune Sync Myth: What Really Happens When You Change a Policy Everyone believes Intune policies only sync every eight hours… what if I told you that isn’t true? The moment you change a policy, Intune contacts the Windows Notification Service to send a push that tells the device to check in. But as always, there’s a catch. A quiet throttle decides when the next push is allowed to proceed. Want to know more? Read the full story: P.S: Big changes are coming!!! The new fast lane will make those pushes even quicker. #Intune #MSIntune #Windows #Windows11 #WindowsAutopilot patchmypc.com/blog/intune-po…

The Autopilot Device Preparation OOBE settings Everyone Asked For. When AP-DP launched, the most wanted OOBE controls from Autopilot were missing. -We had no control over OOBE (keyboard). -We couldn't skip the privacy settings. -We couldn't hide the EULA. -And the worst part…There was no option to set the computer name prefix Shall I let you in on a secret? That’s about to change. Read the blog on how I spotted them. Owww, and I made a nice mockup. #Intune #MSIntune #WindowsAutopilot call4cloud.nl/autopilot-devi…
