My guy was having the time of his life kissing her and wanted more so desperately, yet the fact that he maintains control amid his own wants, reads all her cues like it's second nature, and notices the second she gets uncomfortable is the hottest thing about him.

his little smile before he goes in for another kiss…… oh my goodness

@FemPsycheGhost Actors are not 'supposed' to kiss with tongue, btw. I mean, most of them don't do that, 'cause it's too intimate and stuff, so they just use lips...unless they choose otherwise and feel comfortable enough to do that 🤷🏻♀️ but you can achieve chemistry even with just lips 🙂↕️

@_gracieling I don't trust people who say things like that. They stole shit 🤦🏻♀️ I was so invested in Hannah and Garrett that I didn't give a fuck about anyone else (even if other couples are cute too).

@YaGirlMelberne @offcampusseries If the character is already 'completed' in S1, what's the point of keeping him on a multi-season show? They had to dissect him somehow, so he can have more storyline and room for growth. I'm actually excited to see Garrett in the future!
English

@YaGirlMelberne @offcampusseries I think that, TV series wise, they want to show us progressively every side of him to keep him in the show longer. In S1 he was broodier, but still incredibly funny. I bet we'll see him in S2 working on his past traumas and a lighter version of him will be explored.

GQ: “There’s been a lot of conversation online about how your character Garrett Graham was adapted for screen. Fans have been saying TV Garrett is much kinder and softer. When you read the book, what stood out to you, and where did you feel like there was room to make him your own?”
BC: “The show's Garrett is an amalgamation of our creator Louisa [Levy]’s vision, [author] Elle Kennedy’s original Garrett, and what I brought to the character, so there's a lot of factors that played into him being a little different than the book.”
“Garrett in the book is a little more boisterous. He's a little more big-man on campus. In the show, we really wanted to show the contrast in Garrett of somebody who's revered for his talent in hockey – he's kind of the point guy on the team, he's a captain, he has this big personality – [but it] was nice for us then to pull back his layers.”
“I really wanted Garrett to feel like a guy that you know. I didn't want him to feel like a big jock, an untouchable campus presence. I wanted him to feel like a guy that I would approve of, and Garrett is that. His sentimental value and his empathy were kind of the main [parts] of his identity for me, and for Louisa.”gq-magazine.co.uk/article/belmon…

@YaGirlMelberne @offcampusseries Because the original material is still there, just because something is upgraded or manipulated or softened doesn't mean that the book isn't worthy of being adapted. There can be a number of reasons to change things and characters. Garrett definitely received an upgrade.
English

@offcampusseries I just wonder when adapting a beloved book and you want to change up the character, why choose to adapt the book?

Mother did this 7 times this ain’t a group project 🙏🏽
Pop Base@PopBase
Olivia Rodrigo joins Taylor Swift as the only female artists to have an album debut with over 80 million streams in Spotify history.

@takeitoff26 Whatever floats their boat, I guess 😬 I find it quite cute and endearing how they're celebrating over basically nothing. Olivia's is a great achievement, yes, but it's still useless to compare a heavily promoted pop album to a surprise, and not pop, album of 6 years ago 🤷🏻♀️
