We are supportive of this bill and anticipate it to be heard this week. While it does not eliminate fees for all expungement applicants, this is a positive step toward providing better access to expungement for qualifying individuals that otherwise could not afford it. 2/3

Action Alert: SB 163 SB 163 is a proposed bill that would reduce government fees for individuals applying for petition-based expungement through organizations that are working to help low-income applicants. 1/3
