Heads up, drivers! Look for intermittent shoulder closures as crews clean shoulders across the Clear Path project corridor overnight 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning Sunday, March 22 through Friday, March 27.

Five of six new bridges at 82nd Street are complete, and work is underway on the final bridge. As new bridges and pavement are complete, future traffic switches will increase access to I-69 and I-465 from 82nd Street.

Progress continues on mainline I-465. Crews are finishing work on the final eastbound/southbound I-465 bridges in the I-69/I-465 interchange. Once those bridges and pavement work are complete, crews will shift traffic to their final configuration on I-465.

Crews are keeping as many lanes and ramps open as possible during construction. 82nd Street ramps are currently open with limited access. The 82nd Street ramp to southbound I-69 is expected to restore access to westbound I-465 and Binford Boulevard by the end of this year.

When complete, Clear Path 465 will improve safety and traffic flow at I-465 and I-69 on the northeast side of Indianapolis. Crews are transforming one of the state’s busiest interchanges with efficient, high-capacity ramps. Improvements will also reduce weaving and merging.
