Our NHL Alumni family is deeply saddened by the passing of Kyle Calder. Today, we mourn not only a respected former NHL player but a cherished teammate, friend, and member of our hockey brotherhood. Kyle embodied the values that make our alumni family so special: his loyalty, toughness, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to those around him. He was tough as nails on the ice, a fierce competitor who never backed down, yet behind that grit was a teddy bear heart. Kyle cared deeply for his teammates, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know him. He was a protector, a loyal friend, and someone who always put others before himself. A proud Alberta native, Kyle enjoyed a successful 10-year NHL career with the Chicago Blackhawks, Philadelphia Flyers, Detroit Red Wings, Los Angeles Kings, and Anaheim Ducks. Over the course of his 590 career games, he earned the respect of teammates, opponents, and fans alike through his relentless work ethic, determination, and character. Beyond his playing days, Kyle was devoted to giving back to the game he loved. He was actively involved in youth hockey and passionate about helping young players develop both on and off the ice. He took great pride in mentoring the next generation, and his impact on young athletes and their families will continue to be felt for years to come. Kyle will be greatly missed and forever remembered by our NHL Alumni Hockey family. The friendships he built, the lives he touched, and the memories he created will remain with us always. As Kyle often said, “Family over everything.” Those words were not just something he believed; they were the way he lived his life. His family was the centre of his universe, and his love, devotion, and pride in them were evident in everything he did. Our love, thoughts, prayers, and unwavering support are with the Calder family during this incredibly difficult time. We hope they find comfort in knowing how deeply Kyle was respected, admired, and loved by so many throughout the hockey community. Forever a teammate. Forever a member of our NHL Alumni family. 【Addressing Concerns】 Hello everyone, we wanted to address some valid concerns regarding the pricing of the new vtuber model you would have to get if accepted in our group. First of all, we want to specify that the base price of a model with our artist is￥290,000, about $1800 USD. The reason we put an estimate of $3000 USD is because Lotus's model cost about this much with a lot of additional toggles, items and extra expressions not included in the price. You are not expected to get any of these, and it was a mistake to put that high of an estimate on our form. We just didn't want accepted applicants to be surprised by fees if they wanted extra details for their models. We know that even at 1.8k, the price is not feasible for everyone. But we can assure you that we are not a scam and that Ainy is a trustworthy artist that pours her heart into the models she creates. She is linked in the bio and you can see her models and art for yourself. We also mentioned that we could help out with the models financing if needed! But since we are a group and not an agency, the other members also have to pay for their own models and assets, so a full payment is not possible for us. Once again. We are real people that just want to create a fun aesthetically pleasing group for people to enjoy. We also know this group won't please everyone and that's ok! We are also not going into this with no preparations, we have plans for this group to last a long time. We kindly request to please ask questions or check us out before commenting speculations. Warning others about shady projects is super valid! But it's better to get the actual truth. We advise you to take a look at out Q&A post for more details about certains aspects of the group.
