The system of false nationalities used by the Malaysian Football Association 🇲🇾 has been detrimental not only to Asian opponents but also to Malaysian teams in the league itself, as the fraud benefited the Johor Darul Ta'Zim club – owned by the eldest son of the King of Malaysia and Sultan of Johor Despite the sanctions imposed (belatedly) by FIFA on the players and the federation (merely a fine), a question arises : how did the officials manage to get away with NOTHING ? How can the federation continue to act as if nothing had happened, given that Malaysian football is, to boot, riddled with serious problems (refereeing, the fixture list, failure to comply with basic rules and regulations, match-fixing, violence...) ?

Thirty-two Wakil Rakyat's vanished during a constitutional vote to limit the Prime Minister to two terms. Not a minor bill. Not political theatre. The Constitution itself. 146 voted in favour. 44 abstained. 32 simply didn’t show up. Among those reported absent- Hishammuddin Hussein (Sembrong), Suhaimi Nasir (Libaran), Saravanan Murugan (Tapah), Henry Sum Agong (Lawas), Jeffery Kitingan (Keningau), Larry Sng (Julau), Syed Abu Hussin Hafiz (Bukit Gantang), Riduan Rubin (Tenom). The rest of the 32 - your names will surface. Simple question- Were you in emergency Cabinet meetings? Handling national security threats? On urgent official duty overseas? Hospitalised? If not, this wasn’t accidental. This was calculated absence. If you opposed the term limit, vote against it. If you supported it, vote for it. If you were unsure, abstain. But don’t disappear. Not turning up during a constitutional vote is not neutrality - it is political cowardice. You draw salary from taxpayers. You collect allowances. You enjoy pension guarantees. You receive constituency allocations in the millions. Yet when history knocked, you were not even in the chamber. In any serious organisation, missing a decisive board vote carries consequences. In Parliament? Silence. That must change. Suspend sitting allowances for unexplained absence. Require written public justification within 7 days. Trigger disciplinary review for repeat absenteeism. Publish attendance records in real time. Parliament is not a side hobby. It is your constitutional duty. To the constituents of these 32 MPs - ask your Wakil Rakyat one question- where were you when the Constitution was on the line? *dorg=sorg BTW, officials releasing statements to prove fairness AFTER it has become a nationwide issue is exactly the problem. The data should be proactively released so that there is full transparency (for candidates and public) about how decisions on admissions are made.

And again, I will say that one solution to this repeated outrage is to publish granular data on admissions to public universities, so that everyone can judge the fairness of our system. I see people saying "4.0 bukan kau dorg", but actually how many were there? As always, when gov is not transparent, then everyone comes with their my sister my brother my aunt my uncle story.

I'm sorry but if a child from K'tan cant speak English, the teacher may have to kecek a little. A Singaporean teacher will not be able to do that. Take their syllabus instead, not their teachers. If our teachers aren't capable of teaching, do something about that at maktab level

Anwar’s chameleon stuff works when he was a nobody. It doesn’t when he’s the leader. He destroyed education back when he was in charge of it in the 90s. He’s back, now says letters in Bahasa Malaysia (even the language keeps on getting renamed - my O Level paper in 2000 was just called Malay). He realizes that if you want to excel in the knowledge economy or IR4.0 or AI (basically whatever the hype de jour is today), the lingua franca, is English. The ones that realise this, master it, then many contribute to the brain drain. Who then, is left to pay for the rot, created by decades of mismanagement, just to jostle political power, and patronage?

Temenggung bukan raja. Betulkan yang biasa. Biasakan yang betul.

I'm a KL supporter but it broke my heart to see Faisal Halim giving today's press conference. He can be any of us - a survivor in a system that enables power-backed thugs. Today we know again that our criminal legal structure is failing him and his family.
