Bro its crazy how some people will judge someone off one bad key. I understand if it's like egregious and grief but like everyone has bad keys man. Not everyone plays perfect every time. I feel like m+ lfg can be so toxic sometimes ppl forget there is a person behind the screen.

@deathofadoll Do you still played rdps in ffxiv? I've never gave it a real chance and I'm sure it plays a lot better than it does in wow

@Cnewbster i had a weird shift, i exclusively played ranged dps in FFXIV but when I started WoW i have only played melee dps hate playing ranged now

I have a question for you wow players, I myself really only ever have played mdps in any mmo out there. Even forced myself to play ranged classes but to my own fault, I go to melee every time? Anyone else primarily play ranged classes vs playing melee classes? And vise versa?

@Cnewbster I spent 10 years as almost exclusively melee (feral, always feral, or guardian from time to time) and 10 years as ranged (mage). AMA I guess :'D

@N_ticx tbf mdps uptime is just as frustrating sometimes but both have their downsides for sure

@Cnewbster I feel like I like the idea of playing ranged classes until I play them and when I move I lose a solid 10% dps for every time I press a directional key and I absolutely cannot handle that with my level of ADHD. Hunter is the only one I can tolerate and it’s quite boring.

@Cnewbster I don't think it's a change in range but play style. I grew up playing a caster, but I changed in Legion, melee had held my attention for the last decade. Hunters are fine, all melee are fine. Casters just don't feel as snappy, it wasn't until last month i found a caster i like

@Cnewbster I switched between them in different seasons. Every time i go on range it feels so easy mechanically, except when you lose a ton of dps if you have to move. Melee is fun, but a bit stressful. Except dk, that thing can imune and tank a lot of shit

@Cnewbster Mainly Rogue for 14 years. Took a 6 year break. Warrior/DH for the last 2 years. Melee just feels better (to me) in WoW.

@Cnewbster I like melee in retail because of how fluid it is, however I enjoyed playing ranged in classic typically because of its high damage output and mostly reliable cast times vs slow warrior gameplay. Just depends on what feels more fun to me in the moment

@Sakkros Yea in M+ having to have uptime 98+% of the time can be extremely frustrating

@Cnewbster i play mainly ranged dps, and i find it way more enjoyable than melee having to figure out how to move and not lose dps, except for ranged hunters that is a little boring right now

@Cnewbster yes i much rather prefer playing ranged classes as that is my prefered class fantasy the only exeptions are cat/bwar and enha shaman

@Cnewbster I almost exclusively melee in WoW. (Minus one hunter because pet-collection was fun) Hilariously in other games (MMO or otherwise) I am almost always ranged. Go figure.

@Cnewbster I always had fun playing havoc dh so I enjoy melee. But meta made me switch to dev for a bit and really circled back to when I was trash talking ranged players...

@Owlizabeth2 I'm the same way, I really like MM but i kinda hate BM LOL

@Cnewbster I am okay with MM Hunter though, I think just because I feel a lot more mobile than like a traditional caster RDPS
