Recruits: If you are currently a Junior and have committable offers, you should feel very fortunate, but also realize they aren’t committable forever. Don’t sit around too long waiting for “bigger offers”. Most schools will want you committed this summer or they will move on!

The other advice is that you really need to commit in the summer or you’re going to take opportunities away from yourself! Do not wait for that golden offer to come along because it’s not going to! So many athletes have summer offers and they pass them up. I need to wait until December when there’s no scholarships left.

Recruits: If your HS coach is telling you to visit D2 and D3 schools, it’s not because they don’t believe in you, it’s because they want you to be able to find a home to play. If you are a JR with no offers going into the summer, the likelihood of a D1 school offering is slim
