The power of a vision. We unpacked it at the first conference media day years ago. Player - Last week of the season, building to get just 1 win. Record was 0-29. Coach - Last week of the season “why are you going to practice today?” Player - “To compete for PAC Championships Coach” (that player finished his career 0-30) He understood the vision. Years later, recruits now understand the vision. From 1 win, to four bowl championships, two conference titles, and multiple playoff appearances. What will be next? The vision now ends with “compete for PAC & National Championships”

I know a place where the environment on game day is unmatched. 5-6 thousand at times in attendance. I know a place where a team is ranked in the top 20 nationally. Was ranked as high as 7th in the country. I know a place where a multi million dollar field house is going to be built with other athletic upgrades the way. I know a place where two conference titles have been won back to back. That place is also 36 and 9 over the last 4 years. I know a place where the career service department rankings, job placement rankings etc. rank with some of the best. That place... Grove City College Recruits I strongly suggest you look really hard at your decision. Come build with us.

Big-time players, making big-time decisions. In a few months we’ll take the field living in our program, unit, and position visions. Who’s going to be next to make the big decision to come build with us next year?

36-9 is unbelievable! 2 Bowl Championships and 2 Conference Titles are fun. But recruits please consider your future after football! I’m seeing recruits only looking at the next 4. Yes! You want a strong competitive football program. However make sure the place you choose to be your next home has a strong career service department. A department that will ensure your success long term. The cheaper option isn’t always the best option. I strongly suggest you make this a 40 year decision. Graduation Rates? Freshman Retention Rates? 20 year Return on investment? This decision is a big decision. Make it right.

Big moves happening for the red and white. I said a few times that this class was going to be one of the best recruiting classes we’ve had. Just wait and see! It all starts in your backyard. So excited to see who’s next to build with us. It’s about that time. Time when people say wait… that player is going to GC? Yep. “…competing for PAC & National Championships”

I love this time of year! Recruits making decisions. Some will see the long term benefits, others will see the short term. I strongly encourage you to look at all the long term benefits of a strong academic education. “Don’t sacrifice what you want most for what you want now” What you want MOST is a strong education, with support that will set you up for the next 40 years.
