I’m curious about this topic and don’t want to sound aloof or ignorant. But from my perspective, physicality in basketball isn’t specific to race. We’ve played teams from all over the country. Most of the times, the more physical teams are the ones that maybe don’t have as much skill to play in a shootout. But why would this be connected to race?

One thing that I think people are missing about the portal is that a lot of players are sent into the portal by their coaches, often because they’re not good enough to help them win. The assumption is, it’s players leaving by choice, that’s often not the case.
