@GehrigDieter Looks like some rag tag team playing against the Savannah Bananas. The universal t ball uniform of a t shirt & shorts is more Major League than this. It’s easily the worst uniform in Royals history, and is a very strong contender for worst uniform in the history of baseball.

@DanClarkSports @Royals could have busted out any of these beauts, but instead have the new city connect, which is the worst baseball uniform I’ve ever seen. Give us throwbacks on select dates. Not a pink and light purple nightmare that looks like a Blue Jays knockoff on the backs.

The Bad News Bears turns 50 today. This movie zigged where most kid-sports films zag: cynical, un-Disneyfied, a gritty 1970s antidote to the usual underdog uplift. And Walter Matthau never once feels like he’s “acting with kids.”

@AlTheBoss03 Two come to mind…… Game 3- 2014 ALDS in Kansas City. Greg Holland strikes out Mike Trout to complete the three game sweep of the Angels. Game 2- 2015 World Series in Kansas City. Johnny Cueto comes out of the dugout to go to the bump in the 9th inning. Place went bonkers.

@HuskerTapes Swain was a decent play by play guy. Nothing bad, but similar, or a touch better than a general play by play man doing a national broadcast. Kent Pavelka could make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. You felt how much each play mattered, especially the big ones.

1996 Pinnacle Sports CEO, Paul Aaron hired Warren Swain as the voice of Nebraska football. From 1996-2001 Nebraska had so many memorable plays...and not one memorable call by Warren Swain. Thank God for Adrian Fiala #HuskerTapes
