How bout those Verrado Vipers!!! So proud of the kids, trainers, coaches, administration, our community (brought 4 charter busses to watch this game). On to the Semi-Finals. Going to enjoy this today then back to work tomorrow. @Verrado_Vipers @1verrado

@ASUGrizzlies can we please get it figured out with the football team? As a former player and alum it hurts my heart to see where the program has gone. There is no quick fix. You have to get the right guy to lead the program that will recruit and develop high school players.

It will take time but it can be done! JUCO and portal players are not the answer in Alamosa. Invest in the right guy that knows the history and tradition of Adams State and give him resources to get good assistant coaches who can recruit and develop the right type of player.

There are some great kids at North Creek High School, they work extremely hard, but it’s a tough time right now with district budget cuts. Every little bit helps us give our players a great high school football experience.

Meagan and I’s thought and prayers go out to Robert’s family, @VGHSAthletics, @VGHSFootball and the entire CGUHSD community. Robert’s joy and passion for young people will truly be missed. Rest easy my brother.

Absolutely heartbroken today. This one hurts. A lot. Robert was the Offensive line coach during my time and Vista Grande and he was my friend. Robert was full of joy and happiness and had a deep desire to help young people.

endorsements is up to the kid, and takes that off the universities (collectives) and coaches. There has to be some form of regulation and pay structure. Same could be said for coaches salaries, as well. Just a random thought on a Wednesday.

Power/Group of 5 college football players are not student-athletes. They are employees. Time to start treating them as such. NIL killed the student-athlete model. Employment contracts (1-4 year contracts) would help with all the NIL nonsense. Then whatever the player can get in
