I learned the most about how to play basketball when I played with grown men on Friday and Saturday mornings.. 7am-10am every week from 6th grade through HS
If you didn’t pass & cut, screen away, play defense, move without the ball or take the correct shots, you sat & watched

Congrats to my guy coach Fielding. Gave me my first opportunity after I graduated college and couldn’t be more grateful. I learned so much from him and know how hard he works!!! Not anyone more deserving!!!

Entering the transfer portal as a Grad Transfer with one year of eligibility remaining. I’m grateful for Coach Foster and staff for giving me the opportunity to come home and play at Drury, for all my teammates, and for all the support I’ve received from the community.

Proud of Zach and what he was able to accomplish at Drury. Excited to see where he lands and finishes his career. One of the best players/workers/kids I’ve ever been able to coach. His future is bright!

I have had to coach in two 3rd place games in my career. By far the two toughest games I have ever coached. Emotions are at an all time high…most of the time not from losing the night before but KNOWING it’s the last time you will coach the seniors before the game starts.

Playing the morning after your state title dreams are gone is one of the toughest things to do in sports. Tells me a lot about kids that show up when there are 50 people in the stands & still compete.

Last night’s loss HURT. Thinking about every play over and over again and what I could have done differently. No sleep.
No one tells you how much the losses haunt you when you get into coaching. But the sun came up today and I am blessed to coach for a living.
