10 Reasons HS Coaches Are the HEART of Sports ❤️ High school coaches don’t just teach plays - they shape lives. While college and pro coaches have massive resources, HS coaches work with limited time, tight budgets, and endless challenges. Yet their impact is unmatched. Here’s why high school coaches are true game-changers: 1: They Shape Lives, Not Just Athletes - High school coaches are often the first mentors kids have outside of their families, teaching life lessons that last a lifetime. 2: They Wear Multiple Hats - Unlike college or pro coaches, they’re also teachers, bus drivers, counselors, and sometimes field maintenance crews. 3: They Work with Limited Resources - Small budgets, few assistants, and hand-me-down equipment - yet they still find a way to succeed. 4: They Build from Scratch - They coach everyone, from the star athlete to the kid who’s never played before, developing players who may never see the spotlight. 5: They Are the Culture Keepers - In many schools, the coach is the program, defining the culture and traditions for future generations. 6: They Face Community Pressure - High school coaches aren’t just leading a team; they represent a school, a town, and its expectations. 7: They Balance Full-Time Jobs - Most high school coaches do more than just coach; they also teach classes or work other full-time jobs. 8: They Build Relationships - High school coaches don’t recruit talent; they develop it by building trust and connections over time. 9: They Handle Parents and Politics - Managing parent expectations, team dynamics, and school administration requires patience and skills many overlook. 10: They Do It for the Love of the Game - High school coaches don’t coach for fame or big paychecks; they do it because they love the sport, the kids, and the opportunity to make a difference. High school coaching isn’t easy, but it’s powerful. These coaches' impact goes far beyond wins and losses - it’s measured in lives changed. To all the high school coaches, thank you for what you do. "The goal of the coach is to eliminate the coach" - Louie Your staff and athletes should be so well trained, and your programming so consistent, that they can operate without you

I befriended a UEFA A licensed coach who's currently coaching for FC Barcelona recently. After getting to know him he said he's looking to move to the States for a university or professional coaching position. Please DM me if you're seriously interested and I'll email his resumé

Season ended today in the quarterfinals. But I'm proud of our boys. Not only for how hard, smart, & well they played, but also the kind of young men they were before, during, & after the game. This group has made big strides this year & I'm thrilled to see what next year brings.

First session back from break. Topics included footwork and handling crosses. Thanks to some of our field players for staying to help us out! instagram.com/p/CXAL4I8LddI/…

Had this talk with some coaches today. Make sure you do your homework and don't train your players, in this case goalkeepers, habits that will hurt their playing career later on. Check what the pros say👇 youtu.be/48cmkGUYVMQ
