Athletes; who are you when coach isn’t around? Who are you when you’re alone? Do your standards stay the same? Do you put in the same effort? Do you push and challenge yourself? If not, then don’t expect to achieve excellence or your very best.
Sleep is one of the most productive things you can do. You are not "sacrificing" anything by sleeping for however long you need.
During sleep:
-Your body gets physically stronger (both muscle and bone)
-Your mind processes, stores, and connects information
-You renew willpower
