Have been screaming for years that college football needed to grab this window. P12 and B12 especially. Massive viewership opp but tricky logistics and HCs resist. But again, they are not inclined to do what's best for the game and should be removed from decision process.

Please listen to the entire episode, the discussion is wide ranging -- and we certainly aren't advocating for this. Conference realignment has generally been a plague on the sport. However, certain schools could double or triple their revenue by going "independent" with a scheduling agreement. As @ReceDavis notes, Notre Dame's independence may be not just an echo from he past, but the future.
