I know this sounds a bit soppy, but lately I'm feeling insanely grateful and happy that I get to spend every day around such great people. Over the past 2 months (since heading back to SEA), I've made a ton of new friends... many I knew from X, plus others, and reconnected with so many people I met during the previous years in Da Nang, Bangkok, KPG, Chiang Mai... The past 2 months in particular have felt uniquely special. @andi_losing mentioned in his video yesterday that it feels like being back at school. That captures it well. It's like school, but right after you leave and start to miss how amazing it was to be around so many friends every day. Except you're not missing it now, you're living it. Out here in Da Nang, and the same in Bangkok before, everyone just seems to have come together. Everyone's made the same travel plans, and we're all together in the same places now. There must be 50+ people, all co-working, making dinner plans, going on trips. All the jokes, friendships, and the joys of the shared experience. I'd tag everyone, but it'd take way too long. It feels really meaningful because there are some serious friendships being made, and I know for a fact I'll know these guys for decades to come and we'll all reflect on this experience with *so much nostalgia*. Life's good. Not because of MRR. Not because of attention, or any other externally-facing "metric". Just because having fun around seriously cool people, and sharing the journey with others, is what it's all about in the end anyway. It makes you feel way more alive when you're doing whatever you're doing around others doing it too. Go find your tribe... even if it's only going to last a few months. Just wanted to share that. ❤️

Enormous launch today, incredibly proud of the team working on this. It's an entirely new way to use Perplexity - a single interface and system that does almost anything you can imagine. Give it a shot, and give us feedback! (max only for now)

Today we launched @perplexity_ai Computer. It's such an incredible tool that will do almost anything you ask. It's fun to try and find the boundaries of it's capabilities. Today I one-shotted a web app that shows live satellite data around the world. It fetches Two-Line Element (TLE) orbital data for ~1,500 satellites across 10 constellation groups from CelesTrak, then uses the satellite.js library to run SGP4 propagation, converting each satellite's Keplerian orbital elements into real-time positions once per second.

This is a magical tool to use! And will also say... there's more to come 😈

@ITVX may have the worst app experience going. Showing the six nations without the ability to scrub backwards is atrocious. AND the game still isn’t available to watch on the app… shocking. Incredibly frustrating, if you missed the start of the game you may as well not bother.
