Be honest with me, Americans 🇺🇸 Do you actually own a gun? In Japan, I have never seen a real one. Not once. Not at a friend's house. Not in a drawer. Never. But online, every American just goes "oh, mine's in the nightstand" like it's a phone charger 🔌 So now I'm genuinely curious: What's YOUR gun? The very first one you ever got? Is this normal everywhere in the US? Or just some states?

It pays to buy quality tools. One of my auto students was trying to break a flare nut loose with this generic line wrench, and it broke. I gave him my Snap On line wrench from my personal toolbox and it broke it free with no problem. One more reason I always buy quality hand tools.

Or because you don't believe me when I tell you that, despite the propaganda from "fuel stabilizer" makers, gasoline stored in a sealed metal can will stay potent for many years. I know this from direct observation, and I suspect gas will stay fresh for longer than I will live, possibly longer than the human race will live, unless the can rusts. Counter-argument: Don't drain your gas reserve, because it's hurricane season. Whatever you choose, the pics show the correct method to transfer gas to your vehicle. I have tried every kind of spout (including NATO) and they all suck, sadly only metaphorically. If gas spouts literally sucked, they would work better. Yes some of my Jerry cans had that useless internal vent tube. It just got in the way, because it won't work with a spout (no way for air to reach the tube) and without a spout I don't need it. So I tore it out. Even if spouts worked great (they don't) I would still have to stand there holding the weight of the can for the 19 hours it takes to drain. A shaker siphon is effortless, and surprisingly, I think it might actually be faster than the fastest spout. Mine looks like about 5/8", the biggest that will fit into a car's filler hole.
