Mondays 3v3/4v3 SSGs, Thursday 7v7/8v8, Saturday 11v11 ... mix up the stimuli to change the intensity of the communicated needed as well as decision making and execution! Get better at soccer by playing soccer!

@Coach_Boyle @ricky_powers3 This is why “speed of action” is the more appropriate term. An action being: communication > decision > execution of decision as frequently as possible and for as long as possible (fitness).

@ricky_powers3 The comments to this question got me thinking as well ... is speed of play only with regards to the team in possession (attacking)? What about speed of play with regards to defending? What about transitions? Also ... is “speed of play” a subjective set of terms?

@WalterClapton Connect an AirPod, start an audio recording (‘voice memos’ on iPhone), import into video editing software, then sync to the video. To find an easy moment to sync audio & video i would clap in front of the camera when I started recording.

@alike_no Not mine but the lead instructor for the course. One of those people who has 100% attention of the entire room when he talks. Top notch instructor. When he would step in to help a candidate with their session, phones would be out and everyone would be recording him.
