The Eric Ebron story about Chris Ballard giving Andrew Luck an ultimatum is completely false. Luck was one of the reasons Ballard took the Colts’ job in the first place. Ballard would never move on from him in the prime of his career. And if you think Jim Irsay would have allowed that as well, you’re delusional. The two also remain close to this day and talk quite often, with Luck seeking advice from Ballard on his GM role with Stanford. If this scenario actually happened, they wouldn’t likely have a good relationship. The Colts also did not force Luck to repay any of his signing bonus when he retired. If an ultimatum was given, you can be certain that would have been the case. Ebron’s distain for Ballard is well-known, and he is fabricating this story to create another opportunity to take shots at a guy he doesn’t like for clicks. All the while dragging Luck’s name into this as well. It’s nothing more than a sad, pathetic attempt from a forgotten player to stay relevant.

The Colts have signed WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and LB Akeem Davis-Gaither. Westbrook-Ikhine is a big-bodied receiver who spent the 5 seasons of his career with the Titans before playing for the Dolphins in 2025. 137 catches for 1,862 yards and 19 TDs in 6 seasons. Davis-Gaither spent 5 seasons with Lou Anarumo in Cincy before becoming a starter with the Cardinals last year. Posted career highs in tackles (117) and PDs (5) while adding an INT and FF.
