THE NDC AND ITS ‘419’ DECISION. The decision of NDC to zone its Presidential ticket to the south for JUST ONE TERM (emphasis on ‘one term’) is an audacious attempt to hoodwink Nigerians. It reminds us of the undertaking by Jonathan in 2011 to serve just one full term and quit. So, what happens if Peter Obi changes his Party, assuming he wins, or as leader of the NDC he gets the NEC of the Party to reverse the decision, if in the unlikely event he wins? This is an insult on the sensibilities of Nigerians; it smacks of outright desperation and actually accentuates the dilemma of the opposition a whole in the 2027 Presidential elections. It is just a joke taken too far; it is nothing but political 419.

I have never seen a video of this man properly dissecting a problem and proffering a sound solution. There is no video of him attempting any critical evaluation or intelligently discussing any of the perennial issues militating against the country's progress. It is always the same regurgitated poverty statistics and empty rhetoric. It would be a generational mistake to hand over the presidency to this kind of political fraud.

Obi went to NDC, out of desperation, to negotiate for a 4yr single term for a South East that has never tasted power for decades. A sensible politician, who is very concerned about his region will negotiate with the north to get Tinubu out first, take VP and then take the Presidency after 4yrs of the north and do 8yrs. That’s 12yrs in the Presidency but hunger for power won’t allow him. From the way things are now, power may eventually return to the north in 2027 with a strong South Westerner as VP because southern votes are already divided between Obi and BAT. Obi will always be Obi but Nigeria will always move forward either we like it or not,

There is no Nigerian politician, dead or alive, as desperate as Peter Obi. His desperation has exposed the level of his inconsistencies. Imagine a man who has never even occupied the office of Vice President already negotiating for a one-term presidency. This is the same person who once swore publicly that if he ever left APGA, let his family perish, those were his exact words. Today, look at where he is: moving from one political platform to another and making another round of empty promises. A man who cannot keep his own political vows now wants Nigerians to trust him with national promises. Too bad.

I do hope that when the campaigns officially begin, the Obidients and their new friends in the Kwankwasiyya camp will allow us to peacefully campaign for our chosen candidates and political party, without them resorting to their usual, constant attacks and hostility, which have sadly become their obvious failed strategy.

These Governors abandoned their respective states, flew down to Abuja, not to discuss the fate of their people but to ESCORT SHETTIMA TO GO AND SUBMIT TINUBU’s FORM. Damn!
