Eggs vs. Drops
Have you ever felt like ‘common expressions’ or ‘sayings’ are purely misdirections?
While this is not my point, I can’t help but wonder about 2 specific quotes that cause me to speculate..
First:
“Don’t put all your eggs in one basket”.
Second:
“A drop in a bucket/ocean”.
The first thing I notice, is these are TYPICALLY ‘financial advice’ sayings.
The next thing I notice is that they both have negative connotation or feeling to them.
Aside from some of the more occult and astrological symbolism we could explore, I can’t help but focus on the comparisons and parallels between the two.
The subject and/or things of value, are the eggs and the drops of water.
Which is ironic, as in the expressions for drops are made out to be ‘insignificant’.. as in the Bible, in Isaiah 40:15
“King James Bible
Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing.”
And the other expression, a bit more obvious maybe, is the idea of not putting all you investments into ‘one basket’, you know.. in case shit happens.
I think I like playing the devils advocate here and calling bullshit. And upon further research, I was not alone in this train of thought. Most are familiar with Mark Twain I’d assume.. here’s what he said:
“Behold, the fool saith, "Put not all thine eggs
in the one basket" - which is but a matter of
saying, "Scatter your money and your
attention"; but the wise man saith,
"Pull all your eggs in the one basket and - WATCH THAT BASKET."
- Pudd'nhead Wilson's Calendar
Mark Twain, Pudd'nhead Wilson
This is what I tend to agree with. If you see the golden ticket, save it.. watch it.. HODL it. The idea of diversifying is a wealthy man’s hobby, it shouldn’t be a poor man’s aspiration.
Also, now enters astrology into the chat..
‘The fool saith’..now we have a timeframe.
I could go on about eggs, a million ways to cook em right? Well, I’m thirsty and a million drops of water is approximately 28.5 gallons!
Are you drinking or drowning?!
Going back to our two subjects of value (as insignificant as they may seem), eggs have been currency mind you, and water is priceless in some parts of this plane.. I digress.
Drops are valuable, as they makeup the whole.
Now, we can probably agree that currency, money, in whatever form, is essentially energy. Maybe a store of value, and stored energy is potential energy.. therefore, your money is your potential. Know your value!
Is your value, to you, ‘eggs’.. big, fragile, awkward to carry and transport, with holes and spaces in the vessel?
Is your value, to you, ‘drops’.. liquid, measurable, convertible, easily stored in multiple vessels?
Just food(and water) for thought.
For my math friends, some approximate numbers:
10 drops = 1 ml
10k drops = 1 Liter
1 Mn drops = 28.5 gal..
Interestingly, if we were to view this as grams to ounce(s), there’s about 28.5 grams in 1 oz.
When I consider value in liquidity, especially if that digital liquid is essentially gold.. by todays numbers, it’s about $1800/oz of Au.
If you recall, the 1933 gold buyback from FDR admin, it was $20 per Oz of gold paid out.
Imagine the wealth transfer!
Let’s just say, not all were depressed in tough times.
“‘a drop in the ocean (or in a bucket) a very
small amount compared with what is needed or expected.’
1995 lan Rankin Let It Bleed,
‘A few million was a drop in the ocean,
hardly a ripple.’”
Another interesting fact, Andrew Carnegie battled for dibs on ‘watch that basket’ turn of the 19th century.. why would a Carnegie be interested in stealing from a simple quip writer?
Things that make a fella wonder.
Ultimately, our potential is just that.. ours.
And it takes [h]ours to accumulate it..
I’ve got my buckets ready, so to speak..
28.5 gallons isn’t lightweight.. we’ve been training for this moment.
So, eggs or drops? Up to you. What do you see?
But I’m accumulating my drops.. I’m watching my basket. Singular.

Tomorrow, March 20, 2026, our planet will experience one of its rare moments of cosmic symmetry: the vernal equinox, when day and night are as close to equal length as they get anywhere on Earth.
This fleeting harmony occurs because the Sun stands directly above the equator, with Earth's rotational axis neither tilted toward nor away from our star. For a brief window, both hemispheres bask in nearly identical amounts of sunlight—approximately 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness at every latitude (with minor variations due to local geography and atmospheric effects).
Earth's familiar 23.5° axial tilt is the root cause of our seasons: as the planet circles the Sun, one hemisphere leans toward the light while the other leans away. The equinoxes—vernal in March and autumnal in September—are the precise points in the orbit where that tilt becomes perpendicular to the Sun-Earth line, canceling out the seasonal imbalance.
The term “equinox” derives from Latin roots meaning “equal night,” though in reality the split is never perfectly 50/50 everywhere. Atmospheric refraction bends sunlight, allowing the Sun to appear above the horizon a few minutes earlier at sunrise and later at sunset, slightly extending the perceived day. Still, the difference is usually only a matter of minutes—close enough to feel truly balanced.
After tomorrow's equinox, the scales tip once more. In the Northern Hemisphere, daylight will steadily lengthen toward the long days of summer solstice. In the Southern Hemisphere, nights will begin to dominate as winter approaches.
For thousands of years, humans have revered these moments of alignment. Megalithic monuments such as Stonehenge, the Chichen Itzá pyramid of Kukulcán, and countless other ancient observatories were carefully oriented to capture the Sun's equinoctial path—proof of how deeply this celestial event shaped calendars, planting cycles, festivals, and mythologies across cultures.
In a universe of constant change, the equinox offers a rare pause: a day when Earth's tilt, orbit, and rotation conspire to create near-perfect equilibrium across the globe.
Tomorrow is that day: a quiet reminder of the elegant geometry that governs life on our spinning world.

@CommunityFlare If XRP moved all the money, and all the money is in the quadrillions now.. are trillions even a scary number? I remember when being a millionaire was the goal.. now there’s billionaires.. are trillionaires the next step? Or do we level the playing field?

Congratulations to @federalreserve, @USOCC, and @FDICgov, on today’s Basel Capital Proposal.
Today’s outdated capital requirements are needlessly complex and misaligned with their actual objective. Rather than solving for safety and soundness, they are pushing lending out of the regulated banking system while simultaneously impeding economic growth.
The last Administration aimed to hijack the Basel modernization effort to reverse-engineer ever-higher capital requirements without rhyme or reason. Under President Trump’s leadership, we have taken a principled and calibrated approach that simplifies capital requirements and fosters a level playing field for banks of all sizes.
If finalized, this proposal would advance those goals, fostering economic growth through our regulatory regime.
Today is an important step in the regulatory reset our Administration is working towards, marking meaningful progress toward a financial system that builds Parallel Prosperity for Main Street and Wall Street.
