A lot of people have asked us what Conduit is actually designed to enable. The answer isn't "another agent." It's autonomous systems. Imagine a content ecosystem where research agents identify emerging trends, planning agents build strategies, generation agents create assets, distribution agents publish content, and analytics agents continuously measure performance. Now imagine that system operating 24/7. No manual handoffs. No constant prompting. No human coordination layer. Or imagine an engineering environment where specialized agents monitor repositories, review code, generate documentation, create pull requests, run testing pipelines, and coordinate development objectives across multiple projects simultaneously. Or customer operations systems where agents handle support, triage issues, update knowledge bases, escalate complex cases, and continuously optimize workflows based on outcomes. The challenge isn't building these agents. The challenge is coordinating them. Managing objectives. Routing information. Maintaining context. Tracking system-wide state. Ensuring hundreds of autonomous processes are working toward the same outcome. That's the layer Conduit is being built for. Not individual intelligence. Collective intelligence. Not isolated agents. Coordinated systems. Because the most powerful autonomous systems of the future won't be defined by what a single agent can do. They'll be defined by what thousands of agents can accomplish together.

To expand on our previous post: The interesting part isn't that a Telegram command can trigger multiple agents. It's that the user never needs to think about those agents at all. You don't need to know which agent handles research. Which agent handles planning. Which agent handles execution. Or how information moves between them. Conduit manages that complexity behind the scenes. The goal is to move from issuing commands to defining objectives. Instead of telling a system how to do something, you tell it what outcome you want. The orchestration layer figures out the rest. That's the shift we're most excited about. Less workflow management. More objective-driven systems.

One of the things we're excited about with Conduit is how it can extend existing infrastructure such as Waypoint. Waypoint has powerful interfaces through its CLI and Telegram integrations in development, giving users direct access to autonomous agents. But as systems become more complex, new challenges emerge. How do multiple agents collaborate across a single request? How are objectives tracked across sessions? How is context shared between workflows? How do autonomous processes coordinate without the user manually managing every step? This is where Conduit fits into the stack. Rather than acting as another interface, Conduit sits behind the scenes coordinating objectives, routing context, managing workflows, and orchestrating communication between specialized agents. A Telegram command doesn't just trigger a single agent. It can initiate an entire coordinated workflow. A CLI request doesn't just execute a task. It can activate a network of agents working toward a larger objective. Waypoint remains the runtime powering execution. Conduit provides the orchestration layer that allows those capabilities to scale beyond individual interactions. The result is a shift from agent-based workflows to system-based workflows. That's the direction we're building toward.

Working alongside Waypoint has reinforced something we've believed for a while: Building autonomous agents is only half the challenge. The other half is building the infrastructure that allows them to work together. That's where Conduit is focused. Coordination. Communication. Orchestration. The systems that sit above individual agents and turn them into something larger. Excited to share more as the architecture evolves.

A question we've been getting a lot lately is: "What comes next for Conduit?" The answer is infrastructure. Over the coming months we'll be focused on building the systems required to coordinate autonomous workflows at scale. Objective management. Agent communication. Context routing. Workflow orchestration. Persistent system state. We're less interested in creating another agent and more interested in solving the problems that emerge when autonomous systems become truly complex. There's still a long road ahead. But we're excited to start sharing more of the architecture as it takes shape.

@TheVison91 We are aware of them and hoping that they sell soon to let the token go further. We are 100% aware of them and hope it clears up soon. Regardless we are still building. 🫡

Cannot wait to see what the future holds having @ConduitAgent on board. We have some super exciting things we wish to share with you all soon. 🤫 Without conduit, Waypoints framework would not be able to advance to new levels. Just wait to see what we have cooking...

Over the past few weeks we've been laying the foundations for Conduit. Right now the focus isn't on building more agents. It's on building the infrastructure that allows them to operate as a system. We've been working on the core architecture around orchestration, objective routing, workflow coordination, and communication between autonomous processes. The goal is simple: Move beyond isolated agents and toward persistent systems that can coordinate, adapt, and execute over long periods of time. Over the coming weeks we'll be sharing more about the architecture, development progress, and how Conduit integrates alongside the broader autonomous ecosystem. Still early. A lot left to build. But the foundations are starting to take shape.

A useful way to think about Conduit is that it doesn't replace agent runtimes like Waypoint. It sits above them. Waypoint is responsible for running agents. Conduit is responsible for coordinating them. As systems grow from a handful of agents to hundreds or thousands, orchestration becomes its own challenge. Routing context, managing objectives, coordinating workflows, and maintaining system-wide state are all problems that exist outside any individual agent. That's the area Conduit is focused on. Without each other they can operate but no where near to the extreme lengths we are about to take it.

As agent ecosystems scale, the challenge stops being intelligence and starts becoming coordination. @waypointSDK solves runtime. Conduits infra solves orchestration. Agents running through Waypoint can share objectives, context, memory, and workflows through Conduit, enabling entire autonomous systems rather than isolated AI processes. Infrastructure first. Agents second.

Conduit x @waypointSDK is a collaboration that provides a system for a full pipeline framework from the system orchestration layer -> through to the Agent runtime layer. Conduit will be building with Waypoint. Waypoint provides the runtime infrastructure for autonomous agents. Conduit provides the orchestration layer that coordinates them. Together we're building toward a future where intelligent systems don't just generate outputs they operate. Autonomous agents. Shared objectives. Continuous execution. Real-world outcomes. This is only the beginning. github.com/ConduitAgents/…

WAYPOINT@waypointSDK

ANNOUNCEMENT. Waypoint x @ConduitAgent. 🤝 Conduit and Waypoint serve different layers of the autonomous stack. Waypoint provides the runtime infrastructure for agents to think, execute, maintain memory, and operate continuously. Conduit sits above that layer, coordinating networks of agents, managing objectives, and orchestrating system-wide workflows. Think of it like this: Waypoint powers the agents. Conduit powers the ecosystem. Together they move beyond individual AI tools and toward fully autonomous systems. Separately they are good. Together we are great. Most AI agents today can think. Very few can actually operate. That’s where Conduit and @waypointSDK start to become powerful together. Waypoint provides the runtime layer for autonomous agents. Research. Planning. Memory. Execution. Content generation. Feedback loops. The infrastructure needed for agents to continuously function instead of simply responding to prompts. Conduit extends that vision further. Not as another AI tool. But as an operating layer for coordinating networks of autonomous systems. Waypoint gives agents the ability to act. Conduit gives systems the ability to orchestrate. Multiple agents. Shared memory. Persistent objectives. Cross-agent communication. Continuous optimization. A content agent can identify a trend. A strategy agent can build a campaign around it. A generation agent can create the assets. An execution agent can distribute them. An analysis agent can study performance and feed the results back into the system. All autonomously. No manual handoffs. No human coordination layer. No constant prompting. Just intelligence operating as infrastructure. The future isn't one super agent doing everything. It's ecosystems of specialized agents working together toward outcomes. That's the direction we're building toward. Waypoint as the runtime. Conduit as the operating system. Autonomous systems, not autonomous tools.
