Pistons signaled for months that they didn't anticipate making a significant move. Ultimately content to just upgrade their bench, and hopefully spacing, with Huerter. Banking on Cade Cunningham and their core group continuing to meet/exceed expectations as the East gets better.

Safe to say the Pistons have finished their deadline work. Lone move ended up being Ivey for Huerter/Saric and a 2026 pick swap with the Wolves

The Cardinals were an injured mess this year. What everyone is going to ignore is the 2024 season: 12th in points 11th in total yards 7th in rushing yards 8th in rushing TD's 18th in passing yards (with the QB they're about to trade) 22nd in pass TD He did this with nobody

@LionsRoyalty The Cardinals offense never scored above 27 this season and they score 20 or less in 9 games. On surface that is not ideal.

@AtoZ_Payton @goldenmaso Depends what those ten years looked like. If he’s won multiple NFC titles and was still making the playoffs/winning playoff games, I’d give him the one more year. That being said, I also believe Campbell should be on a warm/slightly hot seat next season.

@ConnorEwald I get that, but this is a results business and teams don’t want to wait around forever. He hasn’t won the big one after a decade of being their head coach. At some point, you have to try something different

@AtoZ_Payton He is still one of the best coaches and offensive minds in the game coaching an injured team. And still led them to a playoff game win. If this happens next year I could see an argument being made for it, but the Niners are not a dumb franchise, and firing him now would be dumb.

I never wanted Kalen DeBoer and neither did Michigan. Michigan had their eyes set on one guy, their top and only target, and they got him in Kyle Whittingham.

@AdamJaksa I agree it was nice to see such a good turnaround. But they need to modernize this offense, perhaps by first getting a real QB1 and stop rotating QBs. they’re trying too hard to be Army and I don’t see that having a chance to work when you are gonna have extreme roster turnover.

After 24 hours, wanted to give some final thoughts on Central Michigan football this year. Yesterday was difficult, it wasn’t the full story though. How can you not feel great about what we watched all fall? We had lots of encouraging signs from this program. 1/15

When you’re upset with your main guys because you think they’re not playing great, so you bring in the end of bench guys to play and prove a point, but those players end up playing worse, you should just go back to your main guys.
