@AlexGLogics Sad. I liked Luminosity as an org. Not anymore. Being on the same date is one thing. Announcing later and pulling away players already registered to another event is another.

We’re always trying our best to avoid conflicting dates with other events when possible but we have to work around a variety of dates unrelated to Smash whether that has to do with other esports, partner or sponsor obligations, etc. We did work with the Smash Calendar team for this event to ensure there was no other events contending for major status this weekend that would conflict. Unfortunately if we consider every non major event for conflicts it would be very difficult for us to run events. We’ve reached out to Cavalier Clash and have also offered a prize pot bonus for them. We encourage everyone to attend whichever event is most convenient for them and to go play some Smash.
