@orthodoxluigi My refutation schedule is something like: - Islam (because violent/Muhammad is a demon) >atheists (but they are lame these days) >woke (its a creed) >prots (source of modernism and the above) But I don't fight orthodox/RC, thats a brother war inside the Ancient Church.

Catholic churches are grand and ornate, but their clergy live in poverty; Protestant churches are simple and plain, but their pastors are incredibly wealthy.

@MysonKay @David_wthebeard ... Ah so you don't own your words, the coward's path. ...And you don't celebrate Christ's birth on Dec 25th, and you won't be celebrating the Resurrection this particular Sunday---you have your own thing. This emptiness is why young people are running from prot/evang denoms

@Constantsword @David_wthebeard The original post here is about eating meat. 🥱 Christians celebrate the birth and death of Christ, Not Christmas and Easter or whatever you call them. I hope this helps and we eat meat every day of the week and anytime we want. Rome doesn't define when we should or shouldn't

@MysonKay @David_wthebeard You did. Self righteously mocking Good Friday fasts as pharisaical. Own your words. December 25th is in the Bible? Who decided the convention for Easter dating?

@Fat_Electron17 @David_wthebeard Yes he put that up with no ill intent of mockery. Please. Its more that Protestantism has just become this spirit of whatever Christians did as a people for centuries let's mock it. Fast in private sure, but we also have shared hol(y)-days. It's why it's empty and dying.

@Constantsword @David_wthebeard Posting meat is considered mocking? Again, who are you fasting for? God, or yourself? If you were fasting for God, then none of what anyone says would matter to you, as you do it for Him. But if you sit and get offended, you're fasting just to say you're fasting.

@MysonKay @David_wthebeard ...That fasting for easter (among other holy days) is about as ancient as anything in Xtianity as we records for & was the universal practice of every Xtian on earth until the 16th C, & still what about 75% of Christians on earth do. Don't celebrate Catholic Easter/Xmas either.

@Drumhailer @David_wthebeard You don't have to celebrate Easter or Christmas either. You can celebrate your birthday on something other than the anniversary of your birth too. You're American, do what you want. But on Good Friday, the day Christ gave His flesh Christians abstain from the flesh.

@Constantsword @David_wthebeard I forgot the part where Christ came back and was like YOU BETTER REMEMBER THIS STUFF ONCE A YEAR OR ELSE real Christians remember every day all day and live our lives for him

@Fat_Electron17 @David_wthebeard Yes, we can all read Matt 6:16. You are the one missing the point. He is purposely mocking a supermajority of Christians who have ever lived--those who abstain from flesh on the day the Lord gave His. He is going to get called out.

@Constantsword @David_wthebeard Declaring your fasting defeats the purpose. Spouting about how everyone should fast defeats the purpose of fasting. Christ said it himself about fasting. It is not about what YOU are doing, but WHO you are doing it for. Yourself, like you, or Christ.

@David_wthebeard @MysonKay "Protestants fast but we don’t tell everyone about it lol" No you just mockingly post meat posts on the biggest fasting day of the historic Christianity---you are so modest.

@David_wthebeard @MysonKay Many evangelicals in your comments are attacking the concept of fasting----its a work. And while I know you don't care, but the vast majority of Xtians through history have considered abstaining from the flesh on the day our Lord gave His flesh right & proper. You're not cute
