@CookSux Calling all Asians Chinese is racist and needs to be normalized.

On stream someone kept calling me Chinese and I wanted to tell her, as a Korean-American, her calling me Chinese is like "what if I called her [Indian] a Pakistani, or P*k* for short, a Bangledeshi, Sri Lankan, or Nepalese." She didn't get my point, but I got banned for saying the P word. As a 42 year old American, all my Pakistani friends called themselves the P word, and even to this day I had no idea it was and is considered a slur. Twitch accepted my appeal but I failed the test resulting in a full 7 day ban, even though the innocently used term wasn't even in a possibly hateful context. Literally everyone I talked to, including Indians and Pakistanis (I was streaming in India at the time) about it were all perplexed.

@TotalGranny Absolutely correct… also I’m a longtime travel IRL streamer so I’m moving from timezone to timezone with no stable schedule… but still even 100hours or more a month, I feel our category got hit hard in the revenue department.

Please tell me there’s a way to turn this off. As a streamer with thousand plus viewers and, these days, always grinding at the end of the month for partner plus points… I just don’t want this as a possibility. If some oil prince does arrive, I’ll take the donation pls.

@TotalGranny From 2020-2025 my unique sub count was never an issue for those metrics. Nowadays I end the month with like 310, 320… usually the last stream or second to last stream of the month secures the spot. Maybe it’s just me… I dunno.

@CookSux I don’t wanna sound rude or disrespectful but I feel like you should easily reach 300 unique subs if you’re average is thousand plus viewers?
