Today is International Day of Persons with Disabilities. We are committed to breaking down the barriers to inclusion and access for disabled people so all can lead happy, healthy and productive lives.

Disabled people still experience discrimination and barriers every day. This International Day for Disabled People, we commit to ensuring that, if elected to government, Labour would put disabled people’s rights and needs at the heart of everything we do. #IDPWD2023

Today is #DisabilityPayGap day. It’s the day in 2022 when the average Disabled worker stops getting paid for the rest of the year, compared to the average non-disabled worker. This means that that Disabled workers will work 54 days without pay this year. 🗓️
