@TheHeidiPie @jimmycarr Circumcision is done for religious and pseudoscientific reasons. It is not medically efficacious. 9 year olds are still capable of assent. Babies are not. Assent and consent legally do not mean the same thing.

@Corrupted_Eden @jimmycarr Babies are circumcised all the time. That isn’t an argument for consent that stands up to your own scrutiny. Puberty can start as young as 9 which is far from being a teenager. Assent & consent are words that mean the same thing.

If you have a gender difference from the norm it’s likely to come with sexualities different from the norm because gender and sexual attraction are socially interwoven

@Corrupted_Eden @jimmycarr Gender dysphoria doesn’t cause pain & death. It’s a mental illness that almost always presents with several co-morbidities such as depression & trauma & is statistically most likely to affect people with autism & those struggling with their sexual identity.

Though refusing to allow a child treatment is usually done for religious reasons and parents are often allowed to kill thier child for their religion in this insane world
