🌅The Belize Coral Reef Reserve System is now a natural treasure and is considered to be at the heart of the identity of this small Caribbean country. Declared a World Heritage Site by the United Nations in 1996, this nearly 300 km long ecosystem is located at a variable distance from the coast in the Caribbean Sea, making it a biodiversity spectacle. Today at the request of a fellow @CotswoldWay Warden, was out on the top section of the CW, between Haresfield Beacon & Randwick Woods to add extra CW way route marker signage at 2 junctions. Sadly litter picking was also required 🤦‍♂️
