Two years ago I brought Hala to New Zealand. A great warrior requires an epic weapon so I crafted the Zenith Blade, for between the Dawn and the Dusk there is the Zenith of the Light. Inscribed in Solanian along the blade was a vow of service to Sol. I asked @james_white if he would make her a hero someday and he swore the Zenith Blade would be there with her. Watching the bts reactions of the cosplay community right now, many are feeling blindsided and heartbroken. Without a stage and a challenge I don’t know if I personally ever would have aimed as high and took the risk to bring my wildest ideas to these events. I was inspired to try my best because I saw the best on that stage and it ignited something within me. It provided a ‘place’ just for us, to share our dreams brought to life in the flesh and blood. I’m mourning the loss of that stage tonight and I’m not alone.
