Another day, another jaunt to the @edbookfest. Two separate events, a pre @yabookprize session with three of the nominees, then @WHusseyAuthor and #AmaraSage discussed self identity, mental health and the ups and downs of social media.

We enjoyed our fun @scattyscribbler session at @edbookfest today. Quizzes, dressing up and rivet heating demonstrations. It had the lot, our students loved exploring the festival site too. #CraigmountESB

Our @CHSwellbeinghub students loved our visit to the @edbookfest to see an interactive session on finding your voice and writing about it! @LauraDockrill smashed it in her Croc’s!

On Monday, Mrs Briggs welcomed groups of pupils demonstrating #Botheredness …’can we have a litter picking group?’, ‘can I start a newspaper?’, ‘can we organise games of football in the park?’, ‘could we have a library option at lunchtime?’… great start to the week!
