It's not any Jihad kankan Our country is being actively suppressed by white men in dark suits, and the tattered terrorists ravaging our people are simply their useful idiots who genuinely believe they're carrying out their interpretation of their holy book after being brainwashed by Saudi-funded extremist wahabist ideology. Reason am. You think barely literate cattle herders suddenly woke up one morning with military training, coordination, logistics and weaponry that can give the NA a run for its money? No. The Fulani herdsmen, ISWAP, Boko Haram, Lakurawa, JNIM, Ndi IPOB and Mahmuda were directly or indirectly created, funded, protected and maintained by white people in lands far far away from you. These white people want to plunder your resources. But since you won't do the convenient thing and drop dead, they have to find a way. Hence the senseless, heartwrenching killings that have become part of our daily lives. But they're happy to do it. Because they also understand that if they leave the world's largest black nation to its own devices for 25 years, we will go the way of Japan but double that. You will become THE African heavyweight that they would have to negotiate with rather than dictate to. We will become a thorn in their side, and we will make them pay for top naira for every kilo of cocoa and every drop of crude oil. It really is that simple. You have to suffer poverty and insecurity so that white people can keep having nice things. Whenever we wake up is our morning.

One day, we’ll stop giving it names and collectively call this what it is. THIS IS JIHAD!!!!

@DavidHundeyin David you forgot to add the patriotic songs they would sing boisterously and happily as you suggested in an earlier tweet as they dig the trenches under the burning sun at 45⁰C. What an amazing citizen they would turn out to be after 5 years. Hard way the only way.

When the African Cultural Revolution arrives, this will be among the top 5 cultural practises that will be outlawed on the pain of prison time with hard labour. Lobola, bride price, dowry, whatever you call it - this is a thing that belongs to a world that no longer exists. In an industrial world beset by capitalism, this cultural practise inevitably devolves into a form of human trafficking. It encourages young women to treat themselves as commodities, and it encourages young men to go to extremes including committing crime just to be able to have a societally recognised partner - this resulting in a society that is made up of scammers, thieves and prostitutes. More importantly, it destroys wealth creation for Africa's young working classes by effectively forcing young people who are just starting out in life to pay a bribe to older people so that they can get married. Older people are supposed to invest their wealth into younger people, not extort wealth from them and act as yet another tax on the demographic that is already Africa's most stressed out. Culture is not static and when the revolution comes, anyone - no matter how old or sickly - who is caught trying to maintain this anachronism will spend a minimum of 5 years repaying their debt to society by digging trenches, harvesting yams, painting road dividers and sweeping streets at gunpoint.

If you're angry that I poached WAW's best reporters when I was leaving, you should ask yourself why they agreed to be poached. How did you treat them? How much were you paying them? You were paying a 27 year-old adult man N110,000/month ($80) to be a field reporter covering high risk stories including the Lekki Massacre memorial and an attempted undercover infiltration of a Chinese/Filipino scam call centre with armed security on Providence Way. This dude had a high risk full time job and he couldn't afford a place to stay. He was squatting with his friend while working full time as a investigative reporter! You couldn't even be nice to him, which costs nothing. Everyday insult upon query, to the point that he was already planning to submit his resignation, even before finding another job. When I made him an offer that came with a living wage and the promise of being treated like an actual human being with feelings, why wouldn't he jump ship? What pull factors were present to make him want to stay put? Isn't he somebody's child too? What effort did you make for WAW to be a non-toxic workplace? Or were you in fact, a pompous bunch of awful diasporans who thought they had a god given right to treat Nigerian locals as cheap labour trash, because of the small $5 you make in America? Did you regularly mock and belittle your employees to their hearing, making jest of their financial status or lack of travel? Now that I took the best talent with me and we're flying in our new project, and your organisation has clearly crumbled into a rotting mess that will soon be worth nothing, you're busy throwing tantrums, acting drama and telling lies on the TL about "David was disengaged" and "financial irresponsibility" - exactly how "irresponsible" it was mathematically possible to be while essentially working with a zero budget, nobody has explained. Enjoy your meme replies and retweets from the sub-3-digit IQ morons but remember that as always, in exactly 5 working days, none of the idiots you are performing for will remember any of this, and you will be back to being a group of clueless, pompous asshats who don't know their ass from their elbow, running a forgotten platform that only ever had any relevance because of its attachment to me. Your eba is cold. You should warm it.

Alex Barbir or whatever you are called. Are you denying your own words on TV? That aside, how did you you go from a very low profile college athlete in 2020, with no other digital footprint to becoming a ‘humanitarian,’ owning an organization called “Building Zion” and showing up at scenes of terror attacks in Nigeria? Who is funding your Building Zion organization? How come the Nigerian DSS that you say can’t protect Nigerians are able to protect you? That’s if you are truly the one running this account, and not your handlers in Washington or Tel Aviv.

Someone just sent me an observation, being that no President has ever been as frightened of elections as Tinubu is. This is so true and I ask myself yet again why he will not just perform well so that people will gladly vote for him….instead of making himself even more unpopular by attacking opposition parties.

“What’s happening in Iran is the end of America empire, but not the end of the American positive influence or its economy” - Tucker Carlson. I have one question for everyone: name one positive influence of America on the rest of the world? Just one. Also, it is indeed the end of the American economy, because the economy of the United States is built on the back of the empire’s imperial power (which it has now lost). Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The Strait of Hormuz and the Western Hypocrisy Africa Can No Longer Afford to Ignore Since the US‑Israeli war on Iran began, President Donald Trump’s actions have exposed how American foreign policy often changes based on self-interest. When Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz, threatening global oil supply, Trump first lifted sanctions on Russian oil and then allowed Iran to sell its own oil — the very country the US is at war with. These moves show that rules the US imposes on others can be suspended when convenient. For Africa, this is a clear warning. Africa must build its own systems in finance, politics, and trade, and pursue partnerships that benefit the continent; with or without Washington’s approval.

The United States was faced with an energy crisis with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Gas prices were hitting the roof. What did Trump do? He quickly lifted sanctions on Russian and Iranian oil, despite being in conflict with both countries. Under no circumstances should Africa continue to play by the rules set by the US or Western institutions. These rules are never based on principles. For the West, everything is about self-interest. Africa should do the same and care only about own interests too. My latest report for @Spearhead_Af

Because he works those orchestrating these killings, that’s why there’s always an attack each time he in town. He even said it that the attacks are usually 10 minutes away from his hotel, explaining why he’s usually the first to arrive the scene. How convenient? Just think about the odds that even as someone who have lived in Nigeria all your life, visited many places in Nigeria, booked hotels services 100s of times, will just visit a place in Nigeria and an attack happens 10 minutes away from your hotel. Yet this dude conveniently books a hotel 10 minutes away from terror attack scene each time he comes into Nigeria. Why can the people of Nigeria use their brains for once?

Alex is not exposing the government. He is working with the government (which is controlled by America and Israel) . Why can’t you people just reason critically for once. Even from this interview you can see it clearly. *There’s always an attack any time he enters the country. *He conveniently books a hotel 10 minutes away from scene of attack so he can be the first know. *Asked why he’s never affected in the attacks, he said he uses a car. *According to him, these attacks happen near military bases and barracks, suggesting Nigerian security forces cannot secure Nigerians. *But they can secure him (Alex), because he admits in a tweet that he receives protection from the DSS. So the DSS is protecting who is protecting Nigerian citizens. It’s a shame that media houses in Nigeria are giving this obvious foreign agent a platform. It’s really a shame.

Farida Bemba Nabourema@Farida_N·
A special message for the Africans whose only contribution to this continent is telling Pan-Africanists to stop complaining !!! You have written nothing. Built nothing. Documented nothing. Organized nothing. Sacrificed nothing. Contributed nothing. Your entire political existence is a posture of exasperation directed at the people who are actually in the arena. And yet here you are, with the confidence that only total inaction can produce, telling us we are playing victims; we are making excuses and we should move on. Move on from what, exactly? You cannot answer that because you have not read enough to know what we are moving on from. You have not done enough to know what moving on would even require. You have not built enough to understand what is still actively working against everything we are trying to construct. And the most revealing part is this: Pan Africanism is two centuries old. It is a school of thought so vast, so rigorous, so multi-disciplinary that it has produced mathematicians, historians, sociologists, researchers, philosophers, economists, and activists across generations and continents. It has given us Du Bois, Nkrumah, Fanon, Rodney, Cabral, Diop, Garvey, and an entire intellectual tradition that has diagnosed, documented, and proposed solutions to the domination of this continent and its descendants from every conceivable angle. It has survived colonialism, the assassination of its leaders, the banning of its literature, the defunding of its institutions, and the full machinery of Western interference, and it is still here, still producing, still organizing, still building. And you, after two centuries of facing the most sophisticated intellectual and political tradition this struggle has ever produced, what have you brought to counter it? What is your school of thought? What is your framework? What is your counter-analysis? Where are your historians, your economists, your researchers? Where is the body of work that dismantles what Fanon built, what Rodney documented, what Nkrumah architected? Because if it exists, we have not seen it. What we have seen is a posture. A recurring, content-free, evidence-free posture of exasperation that has not produced a single original thought in 200 years of trying. “You are ranting” is not a rebuttal. “You are making excuses” is not an alternative framework. “Stop playing victim” is not a school of thought. It is the absence of one, dressed up as common sense. Your contribution to African liberation is criticizing the people contributing to African liberation. That is it! That is the whole resume. Delivered with such conviction, such righteous irritation, as if exhaustion with the people doing the work is itself a form of the work. Well, it is not! It is the oldest trick in the colonial playbook, and the most tragic part is that you are running it on yourself, against your own people, for free, without anyone even asking you to. Pan Africanism has a library. What you have is a mere complaint. And the complaint is always the same, which is itself the most damning evidence of the intellectual bankruptcy we are dealing with. The system that underdeveloped this continent could not have designed a more useful product than an African who polices other Africans for talking about the system. You are not “realist” as you so claim to be. Neither are you a “pragmatist”. You are not even a critic. What you are is a volunteer in the service of those we are fighting to liberate you and your descendants from. And to make matters worse, you do not even receive a stipend for your servitude. You are the most committed unpaid intern in the history of oppression. Doing the night shift, on call on weekends all for free.
