The Avs went into Edmonton with nothing to play for, without Kadri, Lehkonen, Makar, and Manson, and with Edmonton still battling for the division (or at least home ice in the first round), and beat the Oilers.

I didn’t take near as many deer as I should’ve this year, I just grilled my last piece of backstrap and it’s only April.

Jared Bednar said tonight they would evaluate who needs rest and who could benefit from starting in these next few matchups. He mentioned players with milestones, guys who could use the ice time, and those who needed rest.
