@BrennanSurgeon We’re taking (or trying to) the approach of understanding work in the context of real NHS constraints (some aren’t going away even with £20m “extra”). Change work and context, not the workers. Still, made some progress with making staff more aware of individual and team factors.

Been discussing 2 NEVER EVENTS that occurred in our region. Both preventable and both due to basic human errors and would never have happened if teams had communicated correctly and followed HF principles. The NHS has to introduce HF training + awareness for ALL in healthcare!

Little known fact: Patients feel more trust and faith and get better faster when they feel like their doctors, nurses, therapists, and social workers all know each other, communicate together and get along friendly-like.
