This just proves that it was always square enix fault,the reboot was always meant to be bigger than what we’ve gotten,look at rise beta where it focuses on Lara’s mental health,or shadow mechanics that got scrapped,Crystal always wanted to make cool TR games but square sucks

This is a fully playable sequence. After the submarine combat sequence, you have to commando crawl out of the area to find the path back to the Beach Hub.

Seems like the Submarine area in TR2013's multiplayer was part of the singleplayer story in the 2011 Alpha builds! You would need to fight off scavengers to escape.

@MightyCroft @JadenOfAtlantis i know NOTHING about game development but cant they just release a paid update in the PlayStation store for Legend? Basically like the Last of Us and Horizon Zero Dawn remasters. Also if they did remaster all three, cant they make the price cheaper if you already own one or both?

@JadenOfAtlantis I mean, they might consider Legend & Anniversary useless because of the PS4/PS5 versions (from PS2), but hopefully not :(

This isn't likely at all. If they were to cut one, it would be Anni. Legend is needed to explain Undie, and Legend isn't available for Switch players, so Undie doesn't make sense alone. It would be a Legend & Undie duo release if they were to cut anything, but I think it's all 3.

@JillValendyke @Darkseid241 the thing is, what im confused about (respectfully) is why are you against calling the unification a reboot? every era so far, LAU, Survivor even the Angel of Darkness trilogy (that never happened) is a reboot

@Croft_Legacy @Darkseid241 I’m open to have a civilised conversation about this, its more of a soft reboot while keeping the survivor canon as a foundation, it keeps it open to new players while still expanding on the timeline. A few retcons doesn’t erase the entire history of the survivor timeline 🙂↕️

Watching all these dumbass classic purists embarass themsleves by not realising the survivor trilogy is still canon to the two new games coming 2026 and 2027… stop cheering that Sam has been erased, she literally just had her biggest appearance since 2013 on Netflix…

@JillValendyke @Darkseid241 exactly and i think most ppl would agree, like id say one or two games are a good idea, mostly the first games of the classic and lau eras but yea i feel it would be repetitive after a while we need completely never before seen stuff LOL
