I hacked on some hardware to solve my late-night ideas problem: You ever have late-night ideas, but don't want to use your phone??? It'll keep you up all night, right?? Boom. But I have a rule for last 5 yrs where I don't bring my phone in the bedroom. Only notebook. The problem is when I'd write down an idea in my notebook, I'd often forget the banger ideas. So I built the most autistic thing ever: I hooked up a mini $20 keyboard to a rasberry pi When I press enter it sends the previous text to webhook via Zapier - If I say "lin-eng" it creates a Linear task to my engineering team - If I say "email", it just sends me an email. I made an app to fix my terrible posture. It uses my MacBook Pro camera to watch me work.
