Let me get this straight:

Day 1 Status:
Everyone fed. ✔️
Teeth brushed.✔️
Girls hair done.✔️
Lunches packed.✔️
Waters and snacks packed.✔️
In the car 20 minutes early.✔️
Frankly…Tom Brady type start right now.
Weekend schedule looks daunting:
• 2/3 flag football playoff games
• Kid pitch baseball
• T-ball
• 3 picture days (why?)
• Sunday soccer

Today is the biggest Bears game since I don’t know when. This one will be different for me, I won’t be watching from the comfort of my own man cave or at a friends house. I’ll be watching on my laptop from the corner unit in the oncology ward, as my youngest daughter receives chemotherapy to fight Stage 4 Kidney cancer. I’ve never felt so close to hell being surrounded by rooms of balding, crying children and one of them being my own. I have hope that through it all God is still good. I am confident of this. But mann would it ever help if the Bears beat the Packers today. 🐻⬇️
