I’m very confused, if vaccination doesn’t stop infection, how does it prevent transmission? This is why we need an ongoing public health information campaign, to inform baffled ppl like me

@codyhamilton_ @noplaceforsheep If you click on the 'no results posted' tab it provides the links to the published data. The decision to approve for emergency use was based on a pre-planned interim analysis (from memory).

@CryptoZanthia @noplaceforsheep No results posted and the study is going until March next year. Where's the data the decision to approve it was based on? The data supporting reduced infection? But to be fair, yep, it does not at all mention testing for transmission or even infection in fact that I could see.

@noplaceforsheep Ok a quick look, they said they tested for infection risk among those not previously infected only, and didn’t test for risk of transmission. That’s a pretty fine line and it would have been great if they were forced to be more transparent from the start
