More than 7,000 diseases are currently known as being qualified as rare, which means that they have ongoing discoveries as medical research progresses. As these diseases occur all over the world, a decentralized registry could enable an acceleration of the progress of medical care and curing all the diseases world-wide. Through various applications, Data Lake can add value towards this process in providing a more efficient registry of all the rare diseases. - Advancements in reserach are enabled by contributing to scientific understanding by providing a rich dataset (the registry) to scientists. - Improved patient care as there's more data to work with. - Empowerment of Patients. Now, the valuation is still relatively low and the market is massively new, but it can become massive as the medical industry is significant. Based on a technical perspective, we can see that a 30-40% correction has taken place (just like everything else on the markets). This correction might be over and a new upwards run seems likely to be happening to the previous high or even higher.
