Nah, someone really asked if Konsa is better than Chalobah and Fofana.
Not surprised. Some people only rate players that trend online. Watch the game, analyse the player, and not the name.
For me, Konsa is one of the most difficult CBs to beat 1v1 in the Premier League with dribbling or outrunning. He's a pure defender. Not fancy but effective.
Plus, he's good on the ball. The fact his name doesn't trend means some people will underrate him.
In terms of characteristics, availability, and PL experience, he ticks all the boxes.

How about £40m-£50m for Ezri Konsa (28)? I'd like to see a Colwill-Konsa partnership at the back. Konsa's contract ends in 2028, so I don't think he won't be too expensive or difficult to buy. He is a stable, durable, and consistent Premier League performer who hasn't started anything less than 29 league games in one season since 2020. He's super durable, experienced and consistent. In terms of attributes, I believe he is a better and more refined version of Wesley Fofana's profile, and will complement Colwill's qualities very well. Core strength: - Recovery pace - 1v1 defending - Defensive awareness and composure - Ball carrying - Capable of playing CB, RB, and RCB in a back. He's a solid bet in terms of Premier League experience, durability and consistency. The only downside is that he's not very dominant in the air. Not bad but not as dominant as Fofana in the air. However, in terms of positioning, winning ground duels, 1v1 and wide defending, he's really good.

Honestly don’t get the hype around Guehi. He’s not tidy, takes way too many touches to put himself under pressure.
Stones is number 1 choice people need to stop saying Guehi is. Konsa and Stones together looks really good.

Liverpool should go in for Konsa. He’s been consistent for 5 years straight. He’s individual stats are also really good.
Could get him for around £35m with 2 years left on his contract. Make the smart move Liverpool!
