Financial responsibility is not solely the man's duty also… it should be shared. When a woman contributes financially, she is not “assisting,” she is contributing equally to the household. Just as men would handle cooking and cleaning if they lived alone, women would manage paying their bills if they lived alone.

I think an equitable way to split bills is according to income. Have an account where you both send a percent of your income monthly for running the house. So if you earn 500k and your spouse earns 400k and the agreement is 10%… … you send 50k, and your spouse sends 40k into that account. That will be used for house upkeep for the month. As expenses and income increase, the percentage contribution can also increase. It’s better to work with percentages than values. Cause 50:50 means everyone pays the same regardless of their income.

All these 50/50 Convo is not even an issue to me as long as we are doing 50/50 in money, chores, baby sitting, cooking, doing the laundry, running errands etc. The problem is one party doesn’t want 50/50 in everything. See in a relationship, everyone should bring their best pls
