Those wailing under this post are doing do because they hate that the lie they and their fanatical supporters concocted against the INEC chairman is being dispelled. INEC is an institution of the Federal Government. Amplifying their press statement which is correcting misinformation is not same as defending anyone.
Daddy D.O🇳🇬@DOlusegun

PRESS STATEMENT INEC CHAIRMAN HAS NO ACCOUNT ON X, DISREGARD PARTISAN FABRICATIONS The attention of the Office of the Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has been drawn to a malicious and coordinated campaign of calumny circulating on social media. The false claim alleges that the INEC Chairman, Prof. Joash Amupitan, SAN, has, in the past, endorsed a partisan post on the platform X (formerly Twitter). The Commission wishes to state categorically that this allegation is entirely baseless, a total fabrication, and a figment of the imagination of its purveyors. For the avoidance of doubt, the INEC Chairman does not own or operate any personal account on X. He has at no time engaged in partisan commentary, nor has he ever associated himself with any political leaning or activity in his private or public capacity. This contrived X post is a desperate attempt to impugn the integrity and neutrality of the Chairman at a critical period when the Commission is focused on significant electoral reforms and preparations for upcoming polls. It is a needless distraction designed to stir public distrust in the electoral umpire. Beyond this partisan mischief, the Commission is aware that cybercriminals have been on the prowl, utilising fake social media accounts in the Chairman’s name to defraud unsuspecting Nigerians. We wish to place it on record that several of such fraudulent accounts had been identified and reported to security agencies in the past. This latest fabrication is merely a continuation of a criminal pattern aimed at exploiting the Commission’s profile for illicit gains. The Commission will not fold its arms while the character of its leadership is being assassinated by digital imposters and mischief-makers. We wish to notify the public that we are working in close collaboration with relevant security agencies and cyber-intelligence units to track and identify the individuals or groups behind this identity theft and misinformation. Let it be clearly understood that the Commission will ensure that these imposters face the full wrath of the law. Identity theft and the dissemination of deepfake or forged social media interactions are criminal offenses under the Cybercrimes Act. Those responsible for this mischief will be tracked and prosecuted to serve as a deterrent to others who believe the digital space is a safe haven for criminality. The general public is hereby urged to disregard this falsehood in its entirety. We will continue to disseminate official information regarding the Commission and the Chairman’s activities only through our verified institutional channels and formal press statements. The Commission remains undeterred and fully committed to its mandate of delivering free, fair, and credible elections for all Nigerians. E-Signed: Adedayo Oketola Chief Press Secretary/Media Adviser to the INEC Chairman Abuja, Nigeria. 10th April, 2026

My allegiance is to this country and my motherland alone⚠️, I have no connections or affiliations to any foreign nation Behind the scenes, I am already risking my life, my hard earned little resources etc to contribute to making this country & continent great in the little ways I can, in the name of engineering & development, I have gone to places many may be too scared to go to, I have done things many people may be afraid to do, there are things I am not at liberty to say until the time is right You are not more Nigerian or African than me because u have a particular ideology or belief system⚠️ I want our nation to be technologically advanced and I have taken time to be studying the systems built by other nations that work, the fact that I lecture us or enlighten us on these technologies does not mean I support whatever Geopolitical events they are involved in I keep shouting it, I am a young engineer and aerospace & Defense systems enthusiast, I am bound to talk about what I know & engage in respectful debates if necessary Insults and abuses over my lectures or opinions do not really affect me❌, it will never change who I am, it just shows me how mentally divided we are, some pick things to learn from, things we should do for ourselves, others get riled up instead of being logical and spill bile. One thing I know, whether u like me or hate me, I will speak the truth, even if it pains you to ur bones May our land be great, thank you

Yes, the project should be the concern of every Nigerian, because the contract for this project was never awarded through due process. In fact, they outright refused to disclose the True cost, blueprint or the Environmental Impact Assessment of the project to Nigerians. Instead, they hired six Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs) to block and prevent the public from accessing details of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project. Tinubu’s u APC is the most Corrupt Government ever

@Chude_ND1 So if they decides to reroute it then how is that a problem to you? Is it that you can't just find anything else to complain about anymore?

My God!, y'all literally have no idea the weapons technology that exists today⚠️ When some of us tell you these things, instead of learning to understand, some people will shift to calling you 'western puppet' 'US asset' 'US propaganda' Just last night I had to research on this 'ghost mumur' device the US used to locate their missing pilot in Iran; a device that works like an amplified ECG machine used in hospitals, stuff feels like Alien tech because u need to place probes on the skin to get the minute electrical signals from the heart on a normal ECG😖, these guys at Lockheed Martin built a machine that can do this wirelessly from 40 miles away while mounted on a helicopter 👀, it can locate u just from ur heartbeat even inside a cave, unbelievable🙆🏻‍♂️ They give snippets of their capabilities using action movies! They used a distorting sonic/radio frequency weapon in Venezuela when the captured Maduro their president, reports say that hundreds of Venezuelan soldiers at the palace fell to the ground vomiting and confused because they were hit with a 'wierd radiation blanket', how else would u explain 20 guys defeating more than 200 Venezuelan forces, go back and Watch the movie THE INCREDIBLE HULK 2008, this sonic weapon replica was used there to sudbue the giant at the university campus scene⚡️ U can like them or hate them for whatever reasons, but these dudes are not anyone's mate on the planet at this time, they're far ahead of everyone in terms of technology! I am seriously paying attention and learning, na just war chest of resources I no get, yet🤦🏻‍♂️ They do not have 2 heads, Nigeria must be great too🇳🇬🚶, mtcheew 😤

The US is so advanced. It used a 40-mile heartbeat detection device to locate the missing pilot. Again, they have things that are yet to be known.

These stupid animals can track content creators but they can’t track terrorists who display ransom money (with their uncovered faces) on TikTok This is another evidence that IF the Nigerian forces WANT TO end terrorism, they can end it. These animals in uniform just don’t care.

I just saw the VIDEO of Ex-Governor Rochas Okorocha welcoming students of his Foundation’s “College of Africa” for the holiday. This is so inspiring! These are young Africans from all African countries, including South Africa and Ghana, benefiting from his scholarship!✍️

Standing Up for Democracy Today, I joined fellow Nigerians, leaders, and members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) led by National Chairman Sen. David Mark to participate in a peaceful "Save Democracy" protest. This event was not just an effort to protect our democracy; it was also a moment of reflection on how far we have fallen as a nation. We must resist the suffocation of our democracy by those who once claimed to have sacrificed to defend it, but are now doing everything possible to undermine it and silence opposition. History will not be kind to those who traded the struggle for democracy for the comfort of power. We will not remain silent, we will not be intimidated, and we will not surrender the future of this nation. The will of the people must prevail—stronger, louder, and impossible to suppress. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
