I get that 100% but I never said this person harmed me. but it’s okay and human to think, “damn what was this person going through that he had to leave things the way he did”. I believe there is a level of maturity when it comes to accepting an apology. doesn’t mean that they’ll have access to me in a way where it’ll cause harm etc. I was raised to forgive and keep it pushing. but everyone is different shrug 🤷🏻‍♀️.

my ex called me today after ten years to apologize and said the most beautiful things. sometimes you don’t get the closure you want when you want it but one day …. you will.
