@albinojiginosis We've looked into QD-OLED and it doesn't make sense with Gorilla Glass. The glass' advantage in contrast is completely canceled out by the QD layer glow. The only additional benefit would be the durability, but manufacturers avoid it because of its incredibly high cost.

The Dough Spectrum Black with Gorilla Glass is like the Platonic Ideal of monitors, but it's attached to the worst company of all time which makes it an unviable purchase. I hope the QD OLED monitor makers start putting Gorilla Glass on their panels too, because it makes sense.

How stupid of an idea is it to buy a studio display? 😅 I want it so bad but I doubt it’s worth the money. Anyone who bought it that has an opinion?

We're quite a small team, and can guarantee none of the current team members are responsible for this. It helps the company in no way, and the racism accusations would do a lot more harm than any benefit the trolling could provide. Maybe you've already tried it, but Reddit is usually pretty good at dealing with people misusing their platform. They may be able to help ban that account and prevent that person from creating more spam accounts. We really must repeat that this situation has only harmed our company, and it makes no sense for us to endorse it. Both this time and the previous. It creates more work for our team and damages our reputation with customers.

@DOUGHtechnology You should already know that dealing with trolls can be a game of whack-a-mole I hope that whomever is responsible tires of these games eventually, and I garuantee you it is one of your employees who has been there for years. Maybe it's Javild. Who knows.

After I posted this to Reddit, sometime later @DOUGHtechnology 's official Reddit account was banned - probably for manipulation (again). After I posted about that, just like clockwork, they started using new Reddit accounts to spread racist trolling on forums I moderate.

We see you shared the comments, though there is no indication that they are related to us. If you're making such serious accusations of racism, attributing those comments to our company and employees, we would appreciate it if you had proof. You should discuss it with Reddit's admins too. They'll be able to shut down the racist troll's account and all their alts. On another note, we're glad to hear we keep you involved in the monitor space. Wouldn't be the same without you and the r/monitors community.

@DOUGHtechnology That's because I have removed these posts. Maybe the left hand doesn't know what the right is doing, but I am so sick and tired of this shit. Y'all fail to realize - these cycles are the reason I am involved with the monitors community at all. I would have stepped down otherwise
